Enamored. What does that truly mean? The dictionary defines it simply as being filled with love for someone or something. But what does it really encompass? To be enamored signifies a profound and deep-seated affection, an admiration that transcends the ordinary. It embodies a fascination that captivates the heart and mind. All of these interpretations hold true, but for the purpose of this article, let's focus on that first definition: being filled with love. Imagine, if you will, the enormity of this concept. You see, Jesus loved us long before we ever had the capacity to love Him back. Wait, what? He loved me before I even had the chance to love Him? How is that even possible? The answer lies in the divine knowledge that He possessed. He knew us before we were even formed in our mothers' wombs. He was in love with us before we even had the faintest understanding of what love truly is. Before we could utter our first words. Before we took our first steps. Before we learned of His existence. Before we came into being, He was already there, loving us with an everlasting love. It’s a concept that feels almost unreal to our human minds, which often struggle to grasp the depth and breadth of such a profound love. We find it challenging to understand the magnitude of His love for us, yet it is true: He is enamored with us, His beloved creation.

His desire for relationship with us has always been, and will perpetually be… to walk with us in the cool of the day, to share moments of intimacy and connection. He longs to be with us, to shower us with His love, and for us to reciprocate that love back to Him. We are His perfect creation, intricately designed with purpose and intention. Everything in the Earth and sky is a reflection of His nature, including our very beings. We were created to reveal His essence: His love, His compassion, His mercy, and His grace. He is enamored with us, and He is enamored with every aspect of His creation, from the grandest mountains to the smallest flowers.
I, too, am enamored with Him. I stand in awe of His majesty, overwhelmed by the depth of His love. I am completely in love with Him. There is nothing else that can compare to the love I feel for Him. Nothing else can take His place in my heart. No one and nothing can love me in the way that He does. His love is immeasurable, a force that cannot be adequately described. It is unfathomable, indescribable, unfailing, and unending. How can I possibly be anything but enamored with Him? He pours His love onto me in abundance. It’s not just a gentle trickle; it is an overwhelming deluge. It is as if I am drowning in His love, enveloped in a sea of affection that knows no bounds. It is a love song that could never be fully expressed in words, a romance novel that would fail to capture the essence of such a profound connection. It is a cinematic experience that no visual medium could ever adequately depict. I am enamored with Him, and in turn, He is enamored with us. This beautiful cycle of love is what binds us together, creating an unbreakable bond that transcends time and space.
