Sunny Wessel

More than just a Devotional Book Series Author.

Sunny gave her heart to the Lord at age five, following her parent’s dramatic salvation experience. She has been a student of God’s Word, testifying and teaching since her teen years. She has faced various giants along her journey, including cancer and heart valve replacement. With God’s marvelous grace to overcome, Sunny continues to live vibrantly. She shares her depth of experience knowing Jesus. The Wessels married in 1966 and were in the first graduating class of ORU in 1969. They lived abroad, offering financial products to the American military. Upon returning to their home state of Texas, Sunny and her husband pursued work in the insurance industry, both leading agencies and acquiring

her professional designations. The Wessels work together to bring financial resources into the Kingdom of God to fulfill their ministry vision.

In addition to the God’s Special Invitation series, Sunny has created numerous Bible studies and guidebooks. She leads read-through-the-Bible studies and journaling classes and has served in leadership through the local church and Aglow International.
